Barone played in the fourth season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham the chef that wanted Elaine Benes shoes. In the 1990s, she was a regular cast member on Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was Carol Willick Ross Geller in her debut Friends episode. Also, she was married to Carol Willick Ross Geller. The show ended her time as she wanted to pursue an additional full-time job. She was taken over by Jane Sibbett.
